Itinerary of Activities

Friday, July 1st
REHEARSAL DINNER
       Time: 5:30pm
       Location:
       Outrigger Canoe Club
       2909 Kalakaua Ave.
       (Waikiki) Honolulu, HI
       Telephone: (808) 923-1585

       Dress: Aloha Wear, Business Casual.
                  Men, please wear closed-toed shoes.

       Directions:
       From Downtown Waikiki: Get onto Kalakaua (the main street that runs down Waikiki). Follow it towards Diamond Head.
       When you get to intersection of Kalakaua and Kapahulu, go straight (staying on Kalakaua). Stay to the right, the road will
       fork. Take the right side (beach side) of the road. Pass the aquarium. The Outrigger Canoe Club is between the W Hotel and
       the Elks Club. If you pass the fountain, you’ve gone too far.
       Driving Time: Approximately 5 minutes

       From Kailua:
       Take Kailua Road out of town. It becomes Pali Hwy. Follow for approximately 9 miles. Merge onto the Interstate-H1 East.
       Get off at the King Street Exit. At the second light turn right onto Kapahulu. Follow to the ocean. Turn left onto Kalakaua Ave.
       Stay to the right, the road will fork. Take the right side (beach side) of the road. Pass the aquarium.
       The Outrigger Canoe Club is between the W Hotel and the Elks Club. If you pass the fountain, you’ve gone too far.
       Driving Time: Approximately 30 minutes

 

Saturday, July 2nd
WEDDING CEREMONY AND RECEPTION
       Time: 5:30pm Ceremony Begins

       **Dinner/ Reception will follow ceremony

       Dress: Aloha Wear, Casually Dressy

       Directions:
       From Downtown Waikiki:
       Take H1-W to Pali Hwy (Exit 21B). Stay straight to go onto ramp. Merge onto HI-61N (Pali Hwy).
       Follow for approximately 7.5 miles. Once you pass through the double tunnels, turn right at the 3RD stop light.
       Take an IMMEDIATE left onto Luana Hills Road. Once you pass the guard shack it is 1 mile to the Clubhouse.
       Driving time:
Approximately 30 minutes.

       From Downtown Kailua: Follow Kailua road out of town toward the Pali Hwy. Once you pass Castle Hospital,
       turn left at the first stop light onto Auloa Road. Take an IMMEDIATE left onto Luana Hills Road. Once you pass the guard
       shack it is 1 mile to the Clubhouse.
       Driving Time: Approximately 10minutes

Sunday, July 3rd
ALOHA PICNIC ~ Some of Sara’s favorite people (Suzy and Ned VonGeldern & Rick and Pam Gray) have offered to host a picnic at the clubhouse in their beautiful community. All are invited to our “local style” fiesta to enjoy delicious food by the water and to say our fond farewells. Bring your suits if you want to take a dip in the pool! We will provide juices and sodas. If you would like to partake in additional "spirits," please feel free to bring the beverages of your choice.

       Directions:
       From Downtown Waikiki: Take the H1 East. After 2 miles it becomes HI-72E. After 5 miles, turn left onto Lunalilo Home
       Road. After .3 miles, turn left onto Anapalau Street. After going over a small bridge, Anapalau turns into Koko Isle Circle.
       Stay straight (left side of the fork in the road) and follow the circle until you come to the clubhouse (next to the pool) # 315.
       Parking instructions will be given upon arrival.
       Driving Time: Approximately 20 minutes

       

       From Kailua:
       Take Kailua Road heading out of Kailua. After one mile, turn left onto Kalanianaole Hwy/ HI-72E heading into Waimanalo
       and on around the scenic windward coastline. Follow for 13 miles. You will pass Hanauma Bay on your left and will approach
       the next stop at the bottom of the hill. Turn right onto Lunalilo Home road. After .3 miles, passing through the stop light into
       Koko Marina Shopping Center, turn left onto Anapalau Street. After going over a small bridge, Anapalau turns into Koko Isle
       Circle. Stay straight (left side of the fork in the road) and follow the circle until you come to the clubhouse
       (next to the pool) # 315. Parking instructions will be given upon arrival.
       Driving Time: Approximately 30 minutes

       Dress: Casual

Monday, July 4th
